The French Inbound Director will supervise the biggest section of our Indonesia business and report directly to the General Manager.
You should have at least 3 years’ experience in the travel business and an excellent
understanding of the Asian travel Industry.
You should have a proven track-record as a manager with very high standards who knows how to get things done efficiently and effectively.
You will have to handle multiple relationships with suppliers, staff and clients from
all around the world.
You should be able to handle pressure and know how to get the best
out of people no matter their cultural background in order to deliver services that meet the highest international standards. You must have excellent French and English language skills.

Work with the Product Department to develop product for French & German Markets ( FIT/Leisure)
Work with the Contracting Department to negotiate the best rate for French
&German FIT/Leisure Market
Ensure our French & German (FIT/Leisure) Inbound services are at the optimum level at all times
Manage relationships with overseas partners including our sales offices, tour
operators, and travel agents
Supervising the teams of above-mentioned Departments and discuss if there is any
issue and fix with them issues, they are facing: – provide them each time they need
with guidelines on specific requests
Train and mentor the French & German Inbound teams
Monitor new agent performances and bookings.
Control quality of Inbound services. Represent us at travel trade shows
Coordinate with French & German Sales office
Monitor the requests to make sure they are replied on time
Implementing all Inbound, reservation and operations departments in using TourPlan, especially for the Inbound department in using XML and Create.
Ensure all French & German Inbound staff are trained and encouraged to use Create ( dynamic and real time itinerary builder and booking engine )
Ensure all suppliers provide best and most responsible quality services for our
clients are subject to regular quality, price and regulatory /compliance checks.
Negotiate with new and/or existing suppliers including, but not limited to, hotels, sub-agents, transport companies to ensure we receive the best possible rates and the highest service standards.
Ensure responsible and authentic travel products are developed and improved, andensure excellence for all our programs and products.
Ensure you and your team are working with the HO Product team to produce annual tariffs For the French & German (FIT/Leisure) Market for your destination for distribution to overseas travel partners. Coordinate with the product and Head office to ensure all your destination travel products are well represented online.
Arrange FAM trips for French & German agents and accompany agents on such trips when necessary.
Coordinate with the HO Marketing Department to ensure our partners are updated regularly and accurately by newsletters, press releases and updates on tourism developments and sustainability in your destination.
You will report directly to the General Manager of Indonesia.
You will be required to produce written monthly report on French and German Inbound Departments.
General Expectations :
You are expected to keep yourself and your team fully aware of all
developments in the regional travel business including, but not limited to, key
destination information and developments such as new hotels, travel products,
airline routes etc.
You are expected to keep yourself and your team fully aware of all developments
within our organization including staff changes, new departments, new travel
products and strategic focus.
You should be aware of all direct competitors and ensure that our services are
superior in French & German Inbound to those of our competitors.
You should ensure that you are constantly building good relations with potential
business partners whenever possible including keys suppliers as well as clients and
You will be expected to identify and attend events that will strengthen these
relationships such as, but not be limited to, networking functions, sales calls, road
shows, seminars, training programs and trade events.
Graduate/ Post Graduate.
Minimum 3 yrs. of experience in Travel industry with minimum 3yrs of leading a large team.
Fluency in French and English a must (verbal & written). Other languages (German) are an advantage.
Experience in using some type of Travel software and Database.
Understanding of the market trends & comprehensive travel industry knowledge.
Understanding customer needs and inclination towards customer service.
Strong organization and prioritization skills.
Excellent interpersonal and good public speaking skills.
Leader with a positive and dynamic personality, able to adapt to different cultures.
