You Must Have:

  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related
    field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA Network+) are
    advantageous.
  • Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role, preferably in the hospitality
    industry or luxury hotels.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, security, and
    software applications.
  • Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and hospitality-specific
    software.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and
    mentor staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse
    stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing IT projects from conception to implementation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:-

  • IT Infrastructure Management
  • Plan, design, and maintain the hotel’s IT infrastructure, including networks,
    servers, storage, and telecommunications systems.
  • Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement
    solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure data security and privacy measures are in place to protect sensitive
    information.
  • Technical Support and Helpdesk:
  • Lead and manage the IT support team, providing technical guidance and
    mentorship.
  • Oversee the IT helpdesk operations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of
    technical issues for hotel staff.
  • Implement IT service management best practices to maintain high levels of user
    satisfaction.
  • System Implementation and Integration:
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and
    opportunities for system enhancements.
  • Oversee the implementation of new software applications and systems, ensuring
    seamless integration with existing platforms.
  • Conduct thorough testing and training to ensure staff proficiency with new
    systems.
  • IT Security and Compliance:
  • Establish and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and protocols to
    safeguard against cyber threats and data breaches.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Technology Planning and Budgeting:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategic plan aligned with the hotel’s
    overall objectives.
  • Prepare and manage the IT department budget, ensuring cost-effective use of
    resources.
  • Identify technology trends and advancements to recommend strategic
    investments.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and contractors.
  • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to secure favorable terms and
    pricing.
  • Monitor vendor performance and hold them accountable to agreed-upon service
    standards.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing:
  • Provide IT training sessions to staff, enabling them to effectively utilize
    technology tools and software.
  • Promote knowledge sharing within the IT team and other hotel departments
